Xiaomi fans, company has 'good news' in store for you

Chinese electronics company Xiaomi, India's leading smartphone market leader in India, has completed five years in the country. In order to mark his fifth anniversary celebration, Shiaomi has said that he will announce "five thrilling surprises in line with our exciting fans during our fifth year during this week."

This means that from January 7-11, the company will have five 'surprises' for its buyers in India. The first surprise from the company was the announcement of the price cut of its second generation Android One smartphone - Mi A2. This means that prices may be cut further by the company in the coming weeks.

The company has disclosed its plans to launch a new television in the country on January 10. Manu Kumar Jain, MD of Shyamomi India, was taken to Twitter to announce the launch. Since the tweet mentions "The Big Picture", it is alleged that the company can launch a big screen TV, which will be bigger than any of Xiaomi's existing products. For those who are in their home country in China, Xiaomi already has 65-inch Mi TV 4. It offers 4K display and its price is CNY CNY 5,999 (about Rs. 63,000).

At the international level, Xiaomi announced that the smartphone of its Redmi series will now be a sub-brand for the company, last week. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the new logo of the Redmi brand, as well as announced that the first device under this brand will launch in China on January 10. The poster has a redmi logo in the center and the shadow name is 48, which is reportedly the megapixel sensor of the upcoming smartphone's rear camera.

Last week, Xiaomi expanded its lifestyle product portfolio with the launch of Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Masks in India. Currently, the company Mi AirPOP is selling a pair of PM2.5 anti-polishing masks for Rs 249. The manufacturer claims that a pair of masks can last up to one month.
