Xiaomi Mija Smart Washing machine likely to launch in the global market

Chinese smartphone and electronics giant Xiaomi is mainly known for its entry-level, budget and mid-range smartphone in the Indian market. About a year ago, the company had launched its smart TV products in the country and it had taken the TV industry from storm. In addition, the company has launched small smartphone accessories like PowerBanks, Case, Bluetooth-powered audio product and more. Other products that include fitness bands, air purifiers, router, travel and lifestyle related products such as selfie stick, luggage trolleys, and backpacks. Even after this, there is a full range of devices that the company has not launched in the Indian market. The company has recently launched its latest Miza Smart All-In-One Washing and Drying Machine in China.

Just after the launch of the washing machine, the director of product management in Global spokesman Donovan Sung and Xiaomi asked whether the company should launch it in the global market. Sung asked this question from Xiaomi fans using his private Twitter account and many of them responded to the original tweet requesting them to launch the latest product in their local markets. Though Sung did not confirm that the company is planning to launch it in the global market, this question opens itself to the possibility that Xiaomi is looking to bring its product portfolio to the international market.

To re-create, the company started washing and drying machine on its website. Its price is 2,499 RMB which is about Rs 25,300 at the time of writing. It claims that the machine matches the highest washing standard and 21 different types of sports and washing methods. The machine also comes with 1400 rpm capable high speed variable frequency motor. In addition to washing efficiency, the machine also claims energy and water savings. Speaking about the capabilities of its drying, Xiaomi said that it can dry clothes with sterilization rate of 99.9 percent in an hour which is "more efficient than sunlight".

Washing and drying machine comes with a capacity of 10 kg, which means that the person can wash 45 shits, or 12 genes, or 4 sets of bed sheet at any time. Xiaomi claims that the machine comes with "a new internal tube structure design" to achieve it. Describing some methods of washing and drying in the machine, the company said that it could make the air wash to spoil the clothes.
