Fortnite Chapter 2 Now Live; Brings New Map, Season 1 Battle Pass, More

After dissolving into a mysterious black hole for some time, Fortnite is back with Chapter 2 and is bringing a new map and other additions to the game.

 The new location has plenty to explore forests, water bodies and mountains, and provides gamers with the ability to steer a boat, swim in the water, and jump to use pogo sticks. 

The new chapter offers new skins, including a new character named Ripley who is essentially a disgusting idol and an 8-ball that is a huge giant pool ball for a head. Season 1 Battle Pass is also introduced, and lasts until December 12.

These characters come with ego styles to change to suit the hero or villain image you want to portray in the game. Fortnite Chapter 2 brings a new membership battle pass to earn bonuses like character skins and more.

 Progress has also changed, and you can only earn XP and medals by searching for chests, eliminating opponents, and completing challenges.

 You can complete challenges like fishing at Sweety Sands Wharf. The Season 1 Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, and Epic Games says users can earn 1,500 V-Bucks by meeting goals.

Characters introduce new tricks such as diving and fishing, and guns are newly wrapped. There is new weaponry and armor, and Chapter 2 also extends the account levels to 250.

 Fortnite Chapter 2 is now live for users to play, and the trailer can be seen below:

Prior to the launch of Chapter 2, the Fortnite game was below schedule for a fair amount and showing a secret black hole. 

Since then, Epic has deleted more than 12,000 tweets on the Fortnite Twitter account on social media. 

However, the interminable silence for Chapter 2 was only to create publicity, which is now available to play.
