Facebook has announced that its desktop design is now available worldwide. In March, Facebook began rolling out the new design for most users, but now states that all users around the world will get it. The design was announced at F8 last year and brings together the anticipated Dark Mode. The new interface is quicker than the previous one as well as being easier to use.

Facebook.com is achieving a more streamlined navigation approach, allowing an easy search of videos, games, and even groups. The social giant claims that home page and other page transitions also load much faster, and is now almost identical to the mobile experience.

In a new blog post, Facebook confirms that users all over the world are now acquiring new web designs. The new design brings a dark mode toggle that lets you switch to the grayscale look whenever you want. The new Dark Mode switch can be found in the top-right dropdown menu and can be used to reduce eye strain.

On the left is a sidebar that is on your profile link, a dedicated COVID-19 Information Center page, and provides access to Messenger chat, among other things. The Friends List flows to the right corner, and the feed takes up all the space in the center.

There is a new a + 'sign on the top panel that not only lets you create posts or life events, but it also lets you easily create events, pages, groups, and even advertisements on Facebook. The social media giant notes on its blog that users can also preview a new group that you are starting in real-time, and see what it looks like on mobile before you create it. The top panel also has a new watch section that lists all recommended videos, looking at history and likes. We have also seen a new 'Gaming' option on the top panel which lists all the games that users can play without leaving Facebook.

Everything from the chat window to the user profile has been redesigned, and Facebook says the new design is running for all users globally. As noted, it debuted to most users in March, and now all users worldwide should be able to see the new design on their desktop browsers.
