Realme A1 render and specs leaked; Helio P70 SoC, waterdrop notch, dual-rear cameras revealed

Realme, formerly a subsidiary of Chinese smartphone maker Oppo, has become the biggest impediment in India's smartphone market recently. Six months ago, the company, which started operations, has launched five smartphones in the country. Its current lineup includes Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1 and Realme U1. Realme U1 is the newest device in the company, and it was introduced as the first selfie-centric device. Now, the details of its next budget smartphone, called Realme A1, has come to light. Now there is a new leak, which not only talks about the expected specs of the phone, but also renders displaying design principles seen in previous Realme phones. According to leaked render, Realm A1 will also feature Waterdrop Notch Housing with front camera with sensor. The fingerprint sensor will be present on the rear panel. We can expect that the smartphone will come with a facelock feature which is present in the devices we have seen with realme. For leaked specs, MediaTek will come with the Helio P70 system on the chip with Realme U1 chip or 2GB or 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. As the specifications of the cameras, it is expected to have 13 megapixel + 2 megapixel dual rear camera setup and an 8 megapixel self camera camera setup with LED flash. It will be powered by a massive 4,200mAh battery, and Android 8.1 will run Oreo. The interesting thing is that a report from DroidShout says that Realme A1 will be located under the Realme U1 in the lineup of the company. Since the Realme U1 in India starts at Rs 11,999, then the price of Realme A1 is close to Rs 10,000, when it goes on sale. This shows that Realme A1 will have a better specification than Realme 2 to command that value. The smartphone has been tipped to come in black and yellow colors.
